Taunton farm holiday park is a unique, genuine farm stay experience we offer friendly service in a relaxing, peaceful, rural environment with private and family friendly features other parks can only envy.we offer a choice of powered and unpowered sites, drive-through grassed sites, coach access and a woodland camping area.the park is situated on a working beef and sheep property where you can enjoy the peaceful rural outlook and open spacious layout. All facilities are spotless, spacious and modern. A kiosk can provide essential items, barbecue packs and ice. An on-site laundry with iron and ironing board is available. Wheelchair access is available all through the park including the accommodation. There is a large grassed recreation area and playground and a barn-style campers kitchen with free gas barbecues and log fire. Feed the farm animals and experience the farm and wildflower walks. Our function center is available for community groups, family get together, weddings, parties, meetings, functions and meals. It is a culmination of a 4 year project to detach and restore local buildings that were due to be demolished and all the hire costs go towards ongoing upkeep and maintenance. Fresh kitchen facilities are available and we have a list of caterers and suppliers to make the precede up stress free. You can choose which out of the three you'd like to hire or book them all. A insignificant part of history, lovingly restored. Not so long ago, these exquisite old buildings didn't look so good. In various states of disrepair, development threatened to demolish them both. Taunton Farm owners and history enthusiasts, Rob Julie Saunders could not produce to see such a important piece of the local history go to waste, so undertook a huge relocation and authentic restoration project, with no outer funding assistance and have restored these pretty buildings to their past glory. The Church and School are now available for hire for private functions. A project spanning more than 4 years, we give thanks to the many tradesmen and others who offered their time, love and labor and to the people who kindly donated photos and memorabilia for preservation and the enjoyment of all. Traffic had to be stopped as it made the journey from the worn to fresh location. It was a team effort to get the job done. A collection of used relics found below the School when we moved it.
